NOTD: China Glaze Shell We Dance

Swatch1 - Shell We Dance?

Hello Everyone! Today I have one of the China Glaze Sea Goddess polishes to share with you! China Glaze Shell We Dance is a gorgeous bright, textured pink polish with some silver shimmer dispersed throughout the polish.

Price and Availability

This shade is limited edition, but still currently available. China Glaze retails for between $6.50 – $7.95.

Tilt - Shell We Dance?

This shade applied evenly and opaque in just two coats.  This formula, contrary to some of the other polishes in this collection, is amazing.  It applied very nicely, and was easy to work with!  The colour itself is not super unique, but I do not have a textured polish that is this colour.

Overall I would say that if you like the colour, go for it!   The formula is easy to work with, and I think this type of pink shade is great for the summer!  I would give this polish a rating of 4.5/5.

I hope you have a great day!

NOTD: OPI I Just Can’t Cope-A-Cabana

Swatch - I Just Can't Cope-A-Cabana

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite polishes that was released with the OPI Brazil Collection. It is not often that a great yellow polish is released, but this one is definitely an exception to that thought. OPI I Just Can’t Copacabana is a bright, crème yellow that is great for the spring.

Price and Availability

This polish is limited edition, but still currently available. OPI nail polish retails for $9.95 CAD.

Find it here:

http://www.nailpolishcanada.com/products/i-just-cant-cope-acabana-by-opi.html

Tilt - I Just Can't Cope-A-Cabana

This shade applied fairly well, considering it is a yellow polish. It was slightly streaky, just evened out nicely after the second coat. The polish is slightly brighter than a pastel, but not as bright as neon. It is one of those in-between polishes, which are some of my favourite for the spring.

This is a gorgeous shade, and definitely one of my top picks of the Brazil collection. It has a very good formula, and is fairly easy to work with. I would give this polish a rating of 4.5/5, just because it was a little bit streaky at first. If you are on the hunt for a great yellow polish I would check this one out.

Check out some other great yellow polishes!

NOTD: China Glaze Teal The Tide Turns

Swatch - Teal The Tide Turns

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you one of the polishes from the China Glaze Sea Goddess collection released for spring 2014. China Glaze Teal The Tide Turns is a bright aqua/teal textured polish.

Price and Availability

This shade is limited edition, but still currently available. China Glaze retails for $6.00 – $7.50.

Swatch1 - Teal The Tide Turns

The formula on this polish is very similar to China Glaze Sand Dolla Make You Holla, and I did not care for it. I found that it was chunky, and gritty, and just not a nice polish to wear on your nails. I would not recommend the formula, and it is impossible to work with. I would say that if you like this type of texture polish I would check it out, but in my opinion it looks a little messy, and unwearable.

I would give this polish a rating of 1/5, the colour is there, but I didn’t care for anything else. You can see after application that it looks very messy, and gritty on the nails.

I hope you have a great day!

– Jaimie

NOTD: OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go

Swatch1 - Where Did Suzi's Man-Go?

Hello Everyone! Today’s polish is a gorgeous one from one of the new spring lines. OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go? It is a bright orange crème, with a light creamsicle tint. It almost has milky tone to it, which makes it unique to many of the oranges that have come out. This shade was released with the OPI Brazil collection for spring/summer 2014.

Price and Availability

This shade is limited edition, but still currently available, and OPI retails for $9.95.

Find it here:

http://www.nailpolishcanada.com/products/where-did-suzis-man-go-by-opi.html

Tilt - Where Did Suzi's Man-Go?

This shade applied evenly and opaque in just two coats.  The colour is absolutely gorgeous, and very unique to many other polishes on the market.  This shade would be absolutely perfect in the summer with a light tan.  This is what I call a vacation polish, which would be gorgeous on a beach.

I love this shade, and I also love how unique it is to the other classic orange polishes released around this time of year.  I would give this polish a rating of 5/5 because the formula was great, and the colour was fantastic!

I hope you have a great day!
